I'm not talking about spiritual things here necessarily...and I make a distinction between goals and dreams, too.

For example, my goals are divided into short and longterm, and I feel they are more needs than wants, means to an end - although the two often overlap. My dreams are things that inform the goals. So in my case, my dream is to own land and be sufficiently secure financially that I can concentrate my time on writing and study; as well, I want to run a retirement home for abandoned senior dogs, and I'd like to breed Rhodesian Ridgebacks for the explicit purprose of breeding generations of seriously healthy dogs - in other words, not breeding for profit but for love of the breed! I'd like to create a truly magickal home environment, and do ongoing study with people like Allen Schoen and Rupert Sheldrake who do retreats at places like Hollyhock in BC - and I want a whole bunch of animal companions.

So those are the wants/dreams - the goals are the specific steps Im taking to get there..furthering education and so on.

What are your goals and dreams in life - where do you see yourself in 10, 20 years? What are you doing or hoping to do, to get there?

Perhaps one day owning the family vineyard for starters.

Helping f with her venture in her breeding hobby/business and taking care of the abandoned dogs, though not all RRs, preferable for any abandoned dog, esp, russian wolf hounds, keeshonds, grey hounds and bassett hounds.

And to join f in her studies and groups as well as help put toether the PPP...

..for the uninitiated, PPP stands for the Pagan Party Palace, an idea put forth on OF many mnay years ago and that went belly up after a while, but it involves my house and land, a lot of occultists and bonfires, and...general mayhem and craziness.

So yes, that would be a lot of fun to do - I think...

And of course my Senior Dog Project is all breed and no breed - any old dog abandoned by his or her family. In all my years of rescue these are the saddest cases of all. Can't take away the betrayal but you can give some comfort back.

Babs you didnt mention your current educational goals?
