New to the forum, not so new to the subject matter (or the matter of subjects for that matter, although off the subject.)

A-religious, Heathen, auto-theist (thanks to m1thr0s for the term, btw - I hadn't actually heard the term, but it fits).

I'm a professional G33k, electronic musician, hand drummer, sci-fi fan, weight-lifter, enjoy puns (the best compliment a pun can receive is when everyone runs screaming out of the room holding their nose!) and like reading quantum mechanics, and want the education to understand the math. (Non-linear differential calculus makes my head feel funny :confused:)

you can really damage a qabbalists brain using words like G33K you know...I've been 2 hours trying to track down the numerical correspondences already...

doh!

lol...great to see you here Ratatosk...

Hi Ratatosk

Eyecatching name - something to do with squirrels maybe?

Welcome

Wait, wait, you might have something there - what if the truth really is in 1337-5p34k?

7r|_|7|-|

Hmm, looks like a formula, let's noodle it, shall we?

If we assume:
_ = MINIMUM
and
- = negative
and
r = Bohr radius (the approximate size of a hydrogen atom in its ground state) we end up with

7r*absolute(MINIMUM)*7*absolute(-)
Simplified:
-49r*absolute(MINIMUM)*absolute()
So truth would be the absolute minimum amount of space in which you could fit -49 Hydrogen atoms in their ground state.
errr, um, then again, maybe 1337-5p34k is just 1337-5p34k. :no:

Actually, Ratatosk is the name of the squirrel that runs up and down Yggdrasil (the World tree), "carrying messages" (read: stirring sh*t up) between Niddhogg (the serpent gnawing at the roots), and Vidofnir (the eagle - some say rooster, some say hawk, I think Ratatosk would say that Niddhogg said "pigeon") sitting in the top branches.

For those who are confused,:confused: it's all in good fun. 1337-5p34k (leet-speak) is the use of numbers and symbols, purposeful misspellings (like t3h for the, etc). (Wikipedia can explain it (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leet))

The formula I worked out at the bottom was absolute and utter nonsense. Although in physics r is the Bohr radius (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bohr_radius) the converting of the word truth into 1337 and then into a math formula was just for fun. There is no math element known as MINIMUM, nor is there such a thing as an absolute (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Absolute_value) negative.

T = 7
R = r
U = |_|
T = 7
H = |-|

I was just mostly having some fun with puns of a different sort. (It's not often one gets to pun in math!)

Well you know you can just throw that person over a cliff or something or turn them into a zombie gardener and then you have something positive because you can get a laugh out of it....
