Crystal Scrying

Many here have scryed a crystal before, and many still continune to do so.

The question is, what was the most touching and enlightening sessions that youve done for yourself? How did it come about? AND is it still affecting you on an emotional level? If so, how has this played out in your life?

I don't know about touching or enlightening, but I saw my ex-husband in the crystal ball. And had no idea why. Since then, he had some health problems and health scares, and I was supportive when he was terrified.

It was strange to see him in the crystal ball, as we are not significantly concerned with each other.

Well, Ill go ahead and tell my story...

I was doing some gazing in 96, and my mom showed up on the crystal ball. She had been dead and haunting my dreams for over a year by this time...

I wasnt aiming at scrying for a particular reason or person. She just showed up and smiled and I felt this tremendous sense of relief. Then a few days later I was thinking about what went down and the super short period of time it took and I knew that she had finally realized that it was okay to leave, that I would be alright...

Okay, now fera and NuHad are going to get all Jungian and interpretive on me...

In the dreams that I had in which she haunted me, I knew she was gone, and all of a sudden there she was. (she was an alcoholic, though never drank in public so the following part is quite odd) all of a sudden we would see eachother in the local bar (I am not nor have I been a bar drinker at this time) and we would embrace. Then, it would feel odd. So I would try to push her away and she would pick up a knife that was on the bar and say "Im here to take you with me." Then proceed to stab me until my physical body was a lump on the ground.

These dreams happened for over a year repeatedly, until I saw her in the crystal ball. Then, the next time I saw her in my dreams it was still at a bar, though the hug was meaningful and delibrate as well as normal, and she would say I miss you, and Im sorry... then we would just be seen together laguhing and smiling.

its totally weird, but since those few post scrying dreams, she hasnt been back...

Uhh, but that's what we DO, lol...
actually in this case, I think getting all Jungian would be reductionist. Nuhad may disagree. I think of crystal work /scryingas operating on a totally different dimension. Then again... HE'S the genius.

I think your experience was very powerul and may help to reconcile the apparent paradoxes your mother represented in your life..., your own interpretation is what counts, and you've inspired me to do a little work myself. There seems to be a deep ambivalence there and the scrying/dreams seem to have helped you reconcile it all...

I've always been whats considered a "natural scryer", however i've never tried to explore the ability till i started seriously practicing zen.
basicley what you do in the practice of zen is sit about a foot or so facing the wall, and practice clearing your mind of thoughts while at the same time constantly brining yourself into the realisation of the moment, by doing this i found that i could see the "string" of my thoughts not so much in my head but slightly below the surface of the wall, by working with my own thoughts in this way i've developed a system of telepathy that works directly off of my two psychic abilities aura seeing and empathy.

Kaos, it looks like you have been working on a mind lens concept, in order to have a better focus on thing. This sounds awesome and very original.

The way I understand your gift is something you can almost taste when it occurs.

Have you ever related your experiences with peculiar odors?

not as of yet, the most recent extension has been clairaudience, its "meaning my practice" kind of takes a life of its own im just there to experience :)
