I was tempted to say non-occult, since we have a path-related book thread, but formany of us consider everything ties in with our occultism so I'll leave it as it.
I suppose I'm wondering what overly non-occult stuff interests people? Fpr example I like reading travel and nature books, Peter Mayle's Provence series, I like Diane Ackerman, and of course Stephen Jay Gould... James Herriott is hilarious, not just for daughters of veterinarians either.
I read a lot of CanLit too, but I never seem to have enough time for literature anymore.Any new dog thing that comes out I'm all over, but especially appreciate Pat McConnell, Jon Katz, Suzanne CLothier and Jeffrey Masson (on animals in general).
And I read cookbooks for fun, it's sort of my version of pornography - look but don't touch!
What are you reading now? What would you like to get around to but never seem to make time for?
