Hmm

Well, in music there are chord cadences... each chord is given a roman numeral depending on its spot in the series, which is determined by whichever key the song is in..

CDEFGAB

so if the song is in C, c gets the I, d the ii, e the iii, and so on...

So would there be a logical way to map music to the abrahadabra system, or maybe the triangle?

cdefgab(cde)
or the key of a as another exmaple
abcdefg(abc)

Maybe the last 3 notes, which are 123 but an octave more, making them sometimes 8,9,10

...

er..

hmm

thoughts>?

I didn't see this post before I commented on this topic here http://forums.abrahadabra.com/showthread.php?t=799 . Intuitively I shy away from the idea of simply moving up the scale with the spelling, but I've never experimented with it. Have you ? If so, what were the results ?

The application of musical notes to occult systems such as numerology, the futhark, ogham or whatever is an old idea but one that is rarely mentioned. It all depends on what it is that you want to achieve with it, I suppose.
