Like Fera said, you have friends here. I've found it helps to talk to someone about the things troubling me - I don't feel so alone while trying to deal with it when I know I have people here that support me and are in my corner.

And besides emotional support, someone is always able to offer suggestions and a different perspective that might help in finding a solution.

Well, 2007 got off to a great start, as I've spent the past week in the hospital fighting off a serious staph infection. I even had a small part of my flesh, where the infection started-removed as it was to far gone to save.

I will say this, a week in the hospital with a chunk of your butt cut out and full of percocets is a great time to work on that whole 'detachment' thing and really meditate on the nature of the tao is change...
