I was pondering this the other day and it is actually astounding in a sense how similar the Kundalini awakening/raising process is to how internal combustion engines (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internal_combustion_engine) work! Anyone else noticed this?
A short description of the Kundalini raising process can be found here:
The forced compression of prana vayu (energy current of the body pertaining to breath, it's seat being in the anahata (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anahata)centre which is the region of Air) and apana vayu ("heaviest" energy current of the body pertaining to excressional faculties, mainly found in the muladhara (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muladhara)centre which is the region of Earth) in the contracted abdominal area, where the mixture is ignited by the influence of the manipura (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manipura)centre, it being the seat of the element of Fire. The ignited mixture is released in the subtle system of the body although particularly directed to the dormant Kundalini in muladhara, causing her to awaken and motivate her in begining her ascent. The practitioner is then expected to allow oneself to enter Kundalini and ascend with her.
Just felt some of you would appreciate this correlation, since a lot of the work taking place here is approaching things from the outset of "esoteric technology" . And they say ICE's were first built in the 18th century  ...hehe...
