View Full Version : Kundalini work compared to an engine

I was pondering this the other day and it is actually astounding in a sense how similar the Kundalini awakening/raising process is to how internal combustion engines (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internal_combustion_engine) work! Anyone else noticed this?

A short description of the Kundalini raising process can be found here:
The forced compression of prana vayu (energy current of the body pertaining to breath, it's seat being in the anahata (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anahata)centre which is the region of Air) and apana vayu ("heaviest" energy current of the body pertaining to excressional faculties, mainly found in the muladhara (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muladhara)centre which is the region of Earth) in the contracted abdominal area, where the mixture is ignited by the influence of the manipura (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manipura)centre, it being the seat of the element of Fire. The ignited mixture is released in the subtle system of the body although particularly directed to the dormant Kundalini in muladhara, causing her to awaken and motivate her in begining her ascent. The practitioner is then expected to allow oneself to enter Kundalini and ascend with her.

Just felt some of you would appreciate this correlation, since a lot of the work taking place here is approaching things from the outset of "esoteric technology" . And they say ICE's were first built in the 18th century  ...hehe...

Having had the workings of an internal combustion engine (4 stroke) succinctly described to me as 'Suck, Squeeze, Bang, Blow' I'll give that one due and careful consideration.

ShaydeThanks Shayde..."Suck, Squeeze, Bang, Blow" would describe the whole thing quite well actually...

For myself, kundalini work evolves around accepting my own sexuality and the bliss that it gives. Because I've done wrong and have been the victim of many things I have this self-guilt that I'm not allowed to feel good, which blocks off my sexual energy. Because the kundalini gives very intense pleasure when arising it's kinda paradoxical to have it blocked. Dunno really what the hell I can do lol. Feels like the vehicle is filled with bliss at the same time that I'm not allowed to feel it

Funny similarities...

I have another interesting similarity connected with the Kundalini, or more so the Serpent. I have written about this elsewhere in other forums but I will point it out here too because it's damn interesting...

The tensor coil, an ordinary copper wire wound in a double-helix around a ferrite core, much like the two serpents around the staff, has shown some interesting properties:

1. It has zero impedance, which means when fed electrical energy it does not get hot.

2. It has infinite resonance, which means it can resonate strongly on any number of frequencies randomly spaced in the spectrum. A signal pumped into the coil can’t be detected by standard RF (radio frequency) detection apparatus.

3. It has been known to levitate, pulsating bursts of microwave frequencies eerily reminiscent of a connection with something divine

Hmm, I've heard of those too, good points deviadah, thanks for sharing.

There was also a certain book which expounded on the relation between the cadauceus, Kundalini and the tensor coil although I don't remember the title currently...
