So what is a Slurp Spider anyway?

Yahoo's term for search bots. My understanding is that these particular bots link to actual end-users somewhere doing searches on their computers as opposing search engine bots that scan data for Google for instance. I still have no idea why they keep trying to PM people and create messages and all the rest. Caught one trying to report a bad post once...uppity bots...lol

If anybody ever actually gets a PM from a slurp-spider I'd love to see it...what the hell are they "thinking" anyway?

yeah...we get slurped a lot...there's supposedly ways to curtail it but it all serves to get the news out about this site so there's not really much point limiting their slurp-action...we are on a great server right now that can easily handle it so it's all good...I haven't done anything to promote this site so far...strictly word-of-mouth. Otherwise it would already be a lot bigger but I also think a whole lot crazier. Bigger isn't always better. When it's ready to get big it will...
