To be perfectly honest, I don't know squat about Chaos Magic, or any other kind of magic. All I know is that the universe is a little too ridiculous to function as described by physicists, Christians, or even Fox News.

So I'm looking for answers. Please forgive any truly ignorant/monstrously stupid questions I wind up asking.

Thanks. I have no problem using google, but as yet I have no idea what to search for.

Most of the Pagan/Wiccan/Magic-types I know seem to be what I call Cafe Druids. I am hoping to meet some people that are more serious (read: know what they're talking about) here.

I used to do Tae Kwon Do and a bit of judo, way way back when (Reagan Administration, IIRC). If I tried it now, I'd just look silly and hurt myself.

A real martial artist would rend me limb from limb. Fortunately, there aren't too many around these parts. Besides, that's what Bisleys are for.

Well, a good way to cheat in martial arts is the principle of no-mind, void or emptiness (http://forums.abrahadabra.com/showpost.php?p=6271&postcount=9). It allows you to do what the moment/situation requires. It also allows you to define the nature of that moment or situation, to avoid violence, for example. After all, is it not better to be able to simply choose who you fight, and who you do not?
