Monday night, I'll be assuming the mantle of Cain and evoking Wepwawet (an older and more martial aspect of Anubis). The purpose will be to gain information regarding Apophis and Nekhbet, as they are the two most imprtant serpent icons in Egyptian lore. I'm going to see if any connections can be made with the serafim in general, and Sammael (Lucifer/Satan) in particular.
I am also taking requests for queries to present.

Quick question...is Apophis the greek name for Apep, or is he/she/it something entirely different?

Yes, Apophis is the Greek name for Apep, like Anubis is the Greek name for Yinepu, I think it is.

Arcadios is correct. :)

You know what I'm interested in, of course. Keep me posted on Harrut, good Sir Holliday. I'm rather itching for information. (Not as if that were anything new, but hey.)

I regret to say that the working was a complete failure.

Nothing is ever a complete failure. I'm sure you learned something from the experience.

Edit cause: I flubbed up and pasted a reply to another community board, here! *smacks self with Kaiser Roll* If looks could kill, how long would the ugly people live?
Hey, I figured I've already impressed myself with being silly. Might as well go for funny too.

Well, the situation was rather unfortunate, but at least you have some insights into the reason for the failure. I'm sure future workings shall provide greater results.
Otherwise, I'm seriously considering do a bit of work, myself, sometime in the near future. A formal invocation of Harrut is tempting me, as, after all, the results could provide some intriguing information regarding it's state as being Predynastic, and it's potential relationship to the Serpent.

Well, the situation was rather unfortunate, but at least you have some insights into the reason for the failure. I'm sure future workings shall provide greater results. I'm still not exactly sure how I'm going to recharge my own psychic batteries, given the draining state of used car sales, nor have I the faintest idea of how to cultivate a "dark sanctuary" in my home (I do, however, envision it as similar to the black sphere that Darth Vader would meditate in). And the best Fnord, in my opinion, is "Kansas." This dates back to an incident in college. I was in a friend's room, and his roomate, in the middle of his sleep, blurts out, "man! Where the fuck did Kansas come from!?"
