Somehow the fishgoat/goatfish symbol intriges me. As we all know and have been told ad nauseam, we are in the age of the Aquarius now (so we incorporate meganthropoi and heroes)...but lets talk about the next aeon/age which is the one of Capricorn. What will it be like? I think that it will be somehow "Titanic".

Its symbol is the one of the present zodiac sign capricorn
but out of interest I have followed this back a bit...its the symbol pointing to the house of Enki/Ea and unites "mountain" (="Kur"/goat) with "ocean/sea" (fish/Apsu) into a gargantuan Behemoth ;) (also they are both fertility symbols of course). Its connected to the old Roman family of the Julii/Claudii (from that Caesar was from) that also had this as their symbol (and thereby it can be connected via Aeneas to Aphrodite if one wants..)...

Whatever, got any insights/speculation about this olde House and/or the next aeon?

Personally I don't go with the whole fish thing. Capricorn's a goat. As for aeons I'd like to get a definite date as to when Aquarius began or begins.

...this is not all clear but the age of aqaurius hasnt started yet, obviously...
The Austrian astronomer, Professor Hermann Haupt (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Hermann_Haupt&action=edit), examined the question of when the Age of Aquarius begins in an article published in 1992 by the Austrian Academy of Science (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Austrian_Academy_of_Science&action=edit): with the German title Der Beginn des Wassermannzeitalters, eine astronomische Frage? (The Start of the Aquarian Age, an Astronomical Question?). Based on the boundaries accepted by IAU in 1928, Haupt's article investigates the start of the Age of Aquarius by calculating the entry of the spring equinox point over the parallel cycle (d = - 4°) between the constellations Pisces and Aquarius and reaches, using the usual formula of precession (Gliese, 1982), the year 2595. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_of_Aquarius

Youre right about the goat leaning I think (this also shows when looking at the name of capricorn in other languages), still this is not my predilection...Id like to bring it together with guys like Oannes or Enki. It would be interesting to find out more about it though...will keep looking, or maybe someone who comes by this place got any clues etc...

I thought the fish tail represents the ability of the goat to climb not only the highest mountains but also swim deep into the abyss. Kind of like how lucifer, represented often by a goat's head, came from the highest heaven and now lives (in myth) in the deepest reaches of hell.

I agree, Kuroyagi, it will be huge.

I'm here for the real space age (definately not aluminum cups and avocado washing machines) so I am definately anticipating the next 2000 years as being quite interesting.

I tend to agree with the assessment that we have about 600 more years to go until Aquarius takes full reign, though we are already seeing echoes of what may be.

Well, lots, but all stuff I need to keep secret for now really. But, well, expect things to speed up to a breakneck, roller-coaster ride soon... Warp speed here we come, then into hyperspace. Doing this physically, things get real weird and life begins to be a movie with the starry heavens racing by...

I think. Maybe.

all the best,
Oazaki.

Hmmm...before reading that, I was thinking Leviathan and how strange that when on the phone with my attorney to be, I was doodling a serpent encoiled with a goat's head.

naomi, copuldaemon: ah yes, thats the traditional view: the tarot trump devil, and after all Saturn (our ol friend ;)) is connected to aigokeros.

I'll give it some thought- yet I feel that the old correspondences wont check out anymore in the new age. they are too "small" somehow. maybe we'll have to create better ones soon.

Well Im sure you're aware that fish appendages are said to symbolise deity in the middle-east. Then there's all that conjecture of The Dogon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dogon_people) and the Fish-Folk from Sirius...

Whatever, got any insights/speculation about this olde House and/or the next aeon?Tengu gave me one just now. The age of Capricorn, which by my dreams leads to mankind travelling in distant space, (limitless possibilities) also corresponds nicely to Capricorn's financially savvy nature, due to the nature of space travel and how goats will eat just about anything to survive. Anyways I hope he lives up to his promises later and finds some time to post more of his thoughts on this matter as it struck me as remarkably insightful.

aigokeros

I'm not familiar with this word, could you explain?

Yes sure bring it on Tengu! Of course id be interested.

"Aigokeros" is just Greek for capricorn- means basically the same (goat-horn), I just wrote it for variety's sake.
