I love the faint image of a skull - very cool. It compels you to take a second, more in depth look at the whole painting.

Unless... I'm just seeing things...

If it were me, I would make it just a little darker. Then again, I always say that. *shrugs*

Very neat, though.

What do you call it?

this might be typical of a person's who's trying to sound modest but the truth is, the skulls that you're referring to just appeared that way. Perhaps it was my subcons trying to do that while I was putting on another layer.
As for more darkness, I know what you mean it's just that by starting out, I always was using blue back drops, don't know why.
Thank you very much for liking it :)

I don't have a name for it. It's just the seven headed beast and I'm to do a female lucifer (or lucifera) in flames on top but I don't know if I should-any thoughts??

I've always liked the imagery of the Whore of Babylon riding the Dragon. I say go for it.

I really like the energy of the brushwork in this....stream of consciousness stuff?

How big is this painting...?

Hey everybody, thank you for the compliments, I'm going to go out and look for terpentine now but to answer your question, the size is 11 X 14.

i've noticed the massive brown nose on naomi's art gallery thread and figured that many are cult minded searching for their "in membership" cards.
She's very talented but if you really want to show her appreciation, buy a painting or something.
As for I (for those who like my work or lack of it)lol, I am still working on my stuff but have been lazy among other things. but you shall see my stuff when the oils dry.

Nyx gave birth to more than Nemesis; Chaos more than Peace.

I would suggest perhaps tying in more than what it is you're totally comfortable with, the best creations are accidents but they are also mistakes.

I think this is an interesting comment. Because I believe that an artists personality can get "in the way" of her/his work, too. negatively and positively: sometimes one is more appreciated after ones death and sometimes one is very popular while alive (e.g. cause one can market oneself better) and will be forgotten as soon as one is dead.

To an artist every form of appreciation he can get is important, yet every ciritizism could make him better.

Well, K I was in a rotten mood and the sourness poured out but I just meant that people should show support by buying her work because that would help her in the things that she is trying to do but unless I don't contribute then I had no place in saying that.

Okay, due to some abrupt incidents, I haven't been painting and fear that when I do paint I won't have an internet account again but to be positive, when I do have one, hopefully, I'd perfect my technique and it'll be worth looking at.
But fear not, in the meantime, I will leave two works I've done with marker and ink since I can get easy ahold of those mediums and they ain't a bitch in setting up.
