Welcome Lagrima. Dont worry about what you know or don't know, the fact that you are open to learning is what counts. No matter how long any of us study there is always much more to learn. I'm a "beginner" in many ways, after almost three decades of study.

Hope you enjoy your stay with us, its nice to meet you...

Hi and Welcome. For one thing, I'd reccommend you have a look at the Book of Mirrors, here (http://www.abrahadabra.com/tableofcontents.htm). No doubt you have seen it already, but it is a good place to start in order to know alot of what's going on here. Beyond that, there are many good books around. I'll try and think of some for you. I know there are some good occult works in Spanish (I don't know if this is a rude assumption on my part or not: if it is please correct me), as for example the works of Alejandro Jodorowsky. Good to have you here. Enjoy your stay!

Thanks for the warm welcome Fera, 3 decades you said? :eek:Impressive!

It gives a new level of meaning to the term "Senior member" lol...
I started in my teens exploring astrology and was quite serious about it at that time. I laso had a history of clairvoyant dreams as a child so this was an early interest, and it combined with a fascination for psychology (sound familiar?) so I was reading all kinds of psychological stuff at the same time I was studying astrology. And that was my beginning a long while ago...really over 30 years since I recall reading Freud at 15 and I am now 48. Have been through many shifts in consciousness and down various roads since then, but there is always this part of me thats just the same as when I started - like my investigation inot what m1thr0s is doing here with Mutational ALchemy has me feeling like a whole new world is opening to me.

I think staying enthusiastic helps us avoid ego inflation and cynicism. Ive acquired a little expertise in Tarot, but compared to many here I feel like a noob. So thats my story condensed from the three volume series to a paragraph or so.
I'm sure you will enjoy AF! Maybe tell us a bit about your own background and what interest you most? YOu mentioned OTO...

Im a 23 yers old man(A bit late to start aparently ), that came to London just after finishing high school, and from this day I never had much time to do thinks that I wanted, I still havnt got much time, but I feel like the time is come to learn a bit more of what is going on, thinks like, why am I here, and stuff...
I cant remember thefirst time I searched on the subject masonary the first time, I was pretty young, but I never did any deep reserch on it, or the rosacrucians or eighter the most recent one that I found out the O.T.O.
I just want to know what is that all about, what have they to offer, just basics informations so far would do...
I like to think that I can do magick, that i can control it, or that Im part of it, just want to get started...

Oh dear.... you want it to make sense, hmmm...... well, I guess you've got a lifetime to work on that

EDIT: wicked avatar by the way!

Maybe it wont make sense, but as long as it givs me a meaning of life I will be intrested.
And thanks Oblio, the nick Lagrima means tears in Portuguese, and the avatar suits

Yo, Lagrima, good to have you over here! The Rosicrucians are an interesting and important sect, so it'll be good to have someone over here who's a bit more knowledgable of their history and involvement than most :)

Also, I've got kind of a soft spot for the Brazilian material, due mainly to an organization sometimes known as 'Organizacao Planetario', who connect to the Daime religion of Ireneu, one of the most useful and good-hearted religions out there in my opinion, which I would be very pleased to see spread globally (though I am not daime myself). Admittedly, my main interest there is the ganga connection...

Also the Chavante tribe taught me some good stuff when I was out there and Rio is about the best and most wonderful big city in the world (with Paris a close second in my books), and brazilians are just a people I damn near always get on really, really well with. Plus, your language is pretty and melodious, unlike portugese from portugal, so lots of useful and fun things there, for example variations on the Power of the Word. You see, this occult stuff is easy really and is just about games and correspondences. The basis of it all though pretty much is character, and that's where most latinos generally have a head start I find over the anglo-saxon and slavic races. So jump in the deep end why not, I think you'll enjoy it here!

Welcome! :)

all the best,
Oazaki / Okazaki Castle.

Oh, And Im living in London...Is there anyone else from London?

I swing by occasionally and still maintain occassional contact with some of the Brazilian crowd down in London. Where you based there?

I'll be down sometime around early - mid feb next, could hang out if you like then, depending how the time and other commitments pan out. Definitely easy to do sushi or coffee or smtg... especially so if you happen to connect to any of the brazilian crowd I know, kind of used to and almost expect those kinds of synchronicities in my life now...

all the best,
OC.
