Introduction:
According to Wikipedia, Chaos Magick is a relatively new magickal path (compared to some of it's predecessors). The term itself first appreared in the widely influencial Liber Null by Peter Carroll, which was published in 1978. One of the core distinguishing characteristics of Chaos Magick is that it's practitioners are free to borrow elements extensively from other magickal traditions and paradigms, thus formulating a personal paradigm that is attuned to their (equally personal) needs. Since another very important characteristic of Chaos Magick worth mentioning is the great importance it grants to a paradigm's functionality and actual results, a lot of Chaos Magick practitioners do not necessarilly pursue to fit together those elements from varying sources to their very end, but instead assume the truth of parts of particular systems in order to accomplish their goals. Therefore, practitioners use a wide variety of mind-altering techniques to achieve an altered state of consciousness commonly referred to as "Gnosis", which is said to endow the practitiner with the ability to control those forces and bring about the changes he desires upon reality. I went to the church of subgenius site and found a link to the church of euthenatia and other, very violent, crazy philosofies where for example humans will be annilated by aliens soon. Are these philosofies connected to chaos magic (i.e to create chaos is magic). I think the church of euthenatia is sick (it's like human self-sacrifice). The other (church of subgenius and the church of hollocaustians ?) are weird and not to be taken seriously. But still, am I missing some kind of magical point here ?

I found a book on how to construct sigils on Scribd. In fact, Scribd is a goldmine on interesting books. It's like Youtube but with books.
Sigils seem a very interesting form of magic. I think I'll give it a serious go soon.
